Mothers day gift

Well not so nice out there this mornig, but at least it's not raining.  I have to take my son to a birthday party soon so this has to be a quickie!

This has been designed as a wall hanging note pad and pen, would have put it on the fridge but I didn't have any magnets!!
I have used backing papers from My Minds eye called 'Summer papers'
and have used pink and blue card to matt them onto.
The note pad has had a small flap attatched to the top to decorate and I have used a fiskars border punch along the bottom.  Flowers from Wild orchid crafts to decorate.  It has been matted onto pink and blue card with another fiskars border down the side, with liquid pearl to decorate the scallops.
I have attatched the pen with ribbon and created marianne die cut flowers on top and bottom with a pearl gem for the centre.
The verse I got free from a website http://www.imag-e-nation.com/card_verses_poems_quotes.htm. I have cut it out using a nellie snellen multiframe die, inked around the edge and liquid pearled the scallops.

I will be entering this into the following challenges
http://abc-challenge.blogspot.com/ 'Q is for quote/sentiment'

Hope you like it

Nikki
