Welcome to another challenge at OSAAT

Well The Collabs are back at the Stitchy bear store, just spend $10 in the store and get all of this wonderful collab for free!!!

All of the DT members have made something from one of the images int the Collab and here is mine :o)

I have used papers from the dove craft sugar and spice paper pack for the backing, My new Marianne creatables die cut has been used to cut out the image. I have then punched flowers and leaves to create the decoration around it.

This beautiful image has been created for the collab by Ike from the stitchy bear store, I have coloured her with pro markers.

I have used my Joy crafts leaf swirl die to create the swirls in the corners.

A birthday card for Gran!

Well I have been a bit hit and miss with posts lately as I warned I would be because I am packing and getting ready to move home in 5 weeks!! Gosh the time is flying past! I have only been posting DT cards for the last week or so, but it is my gran's birthday on Sunday, so I have had to make her Birthday card and here it is :o)

No DP's just a dotty embossing folder and purple and black card, the 2 round dies are from a marianne creatables die cut set that I have cut and embossed

The butterfly is a die from Joy Crafts and I have added some mini gems

The flower is a marianne creatables die cut, and the leaf swirls are another joy craft die

the Gran sentiment is from do crafts family sentiments( had to cut Grandma but I will never use it as that anyway!!)

GDT project for Anything goes challenge 'Box it , tag it, Bag it'

Well here ismy final project as a guest designer for Anything goes Challenge blog, and as you can see by the title the challenge is

'Box it, tag it, bag it'

and here is my project, I hope you like it :o)

I have created a type of wrap box , I wanted something to put muy hubbies chocolate in for valentines day!

I have used pink petticoat papers for the backing

he image is a La Pasche flippin men stamp( available at the store) and has been coloured with pro markers and cut out using a spellbinders lace square die cut that has been inked around the edges

I created the sentiment on my computer and cut it out using a spellbinders lace oval die and inked it too, then added a button

for the inside I created a section for the chocolate to sit in, and used the other stamp in the set to decorate.

Yummmmy chocie, will be sharing this I hope :o)

DT card for OSAAT # 101 'Digi or Don't feb 19th

here is my card

I have used a tri fold shape for this card and used papermania capsule papers in B&W, the main image has been cut out usung a Nellie Snellen oval die and there is one inside too for any sentiments

These gorgeous cats are from the same set at the stitchy bear store by Barbara Jensen called 'Two Kittens' I have used pro markers to colour them

The die cut has been decorated with black gems

I created the sentiment on my computer and punched it out then layered it onto a scalloped circle black die, pierced a hole to hang the cat charm on which is from my stash.

My project this week is a Halloween wall hanger

I have used 2 circular die cuts for each section. the black is a plain circle and the white(cutting out the digi's) is a lace circle form spellbinders, I have then inked the lace circles in red and black

The letters have been printed on my computer then coloured with pro markers and I have added 2 black bats to the bottom two sections that I found on the internet and printed out.

This cute little image is called Bobble head halloween ghost from Bugaboo digi stamps and I have coloured him in Promarkers.

GDT card for Anything goes challenge blog 'Bingo'

Hi everyone, thank you all for coming to see my GDT project for Anything goes for this fortnight. The challenge as the title explains is 'Bingo' so use the board below to come up with a fabby projet for us to see.

Here is my card for this challenge a Telesope card

I have used Xcut die cuts to create the bases for this

This is the top layer, complete with ribbon to hang it up! I have used La Pasche Flippin men stamp set Mr Fix it to create this(you can get them here). I have stamped the images using Tim holtz distress inkForest moss and then used Brushed corduroy, tea dye and walnut stain aswell to paint the image in.

I have distessed around all the ovals with walnut stain

I have stamped all of the sentiments that come with the stamp set on this section in the inks and then added a happy birthday sentiment to it.

DT post for Forevernight challenges 'Alternative girls colour challenge' 3rd Feb

Welcome to another challenge with team A at Forever night challenges, and our theme this week is 'Alternative girls' with a colour challenge of 'Red, Black, white and grey'

Our sponsor this week is Saturated canary and I am using the fantastic Gothica for my image. I hope you like what I have come up with.

I have created a wall canvas that is 23cm x 30 cm. I have painted the canvas black, thenused free web papers from bearly mine and then created a panel to go across the middle using black and red card, then silver card that has been punched using a fiskars lace border punch. I have then added some large red Indie style gems I had in my stash.

The image as I said above is called Gothica, she has been coloured with pro markers and then cut out and attatched using silicon gel. I have used pearl gems on the trousers

The setiment isfrom an unkown set of stamps, that i have stamped using red and black ink, it has been die cut ussing an Xcut circle die, then inked with black and red around the edge. I have attatched it to a silver spellbinders die cut(can't remember the name) I have then hung beads and charms from the fir cut.

The flowers are from wild orchid crafts and the silver swirls are a die from marianne creatables.

Nature on our Patio!!

Saturated canary die cuts and punches

Well I have just found a fab new playground over at Saturated Canary and as I have a Simply sassy stamp I can play along :o)

Stamp fairy Wedding card

Todays card is a wedding card using a stamp fairy image

I used a square blank card and folded the top corner of the front down .

I have used one of my heart embossing folders to decorate the corner and layered it onto gold card

The image has been coloured in with pro markers and cut out with an xcut die then layered onto a scalloped circle spellbinders die cut out in gold

I have tied a bow and hung two hearts from it andadded a flower ontop.

I have used lots of die cut circles to create the base and easle abnd to decorate the card

the extra bubbles have been created using 2 different size circle dies and I have inked around the edge in blue and black, then drawn the hash on with a fine line black pen and added glossy accecnt on top.

DT card for Gingerloft 'Snow' 22nd January

Challenge time again at Gingerloft and the theme this fortnight is 'SNOW'

Here is my card

No DP's just lots of embossing!!

I have used embossing past a metalic stencil and glitter to create these snowflakes.

I used an embossing folder to create the snoflake background, gingerloft digi painted with a tim holtz distress ink and an unknown snow sentiment stamped onto a Nellie snellen die cut.

DT project for Forever Night challenge 'Rocky Horror Picture show'

Good afternoon , my posts will be a bit hit and miss for the next few months as we are moving out of the school we live in back to our own home in Bude so packing and sorting and throwing things out will be my main focus with a bit of crafting thrown in(until I pack that too!!) So please be patient with me and keep popping back to see me :o)

My card today was created for the KKCrafty girls challenge with the Come and get it challenge sketch. I hope you like it :o)

The papers used for this card are from the do crafts Papermania Capsule collection called Aqua paper pack. I have used lilac card to layer it. A fiskars border punch for the edges as well as a scalloped pair of scissors

This image is from Kenny K downloads called 'Wasn't me ' from the Glam gang collection She has been coloured with pomarkers, cut out and attatched to a spellbinders die using foam pads

The ribbons are from my stash and have been secured using a brad and then attatched to the card with silicon glue

I have used 'My minds eye ' freebie papers from a magazine for the backing, and then a nesties lace square die cut to cut out the image. The die cut has been inked with green and red

Mythical creatures at craft your passion.

Well I am finally back in the land of blogland for more than just my DT pieces, I am sorry I have been absent for so long but thank you all for stopping by and checking out my blog while I have been missing :o)

The fairy is a digi stamp but it is from a company that is no longer selling, I cna't resist using her tho as she is so gorgeous!! She has been coloured with pro markers and decoupaged and had mini gems added too her wings

The sentiment has been created on my computer and cut out with the same set of butterfly circle nesties as the main image., then inked with blue pink and black.

The butterfly charm is from my stash.

My second card this week if for one of our new designers IKE at the stitchy bear store( I made 2 as I always need baby cards!!)

I have used my baby feet embossing folder for the backing layered on pink or blue

and my new lace ovals dies from spellbinders

The smaller ovale has cut out the 'new baby image' by IKE at the stitchy bear store, I have highlighted the hands and feet in pink or blue, depending on the colour of the card.

I have then heat embossed the whole oval using ultra thick embossing powder. I have wrapped ribbon around the lace edge tied a bow and then hung a baby foot charm at the bottom

The heart gems have been added for my third embellie.

Forever Friends GDT card 'Shaped card(not a square)'

Backing is just made up of punched hearts I had left over from my wedding invitsations! I have used Nellies Snellen heart dies and a heart embossing folder, inked arout the hearts with Tim holtz distress ink red and black,

Die cuts and punches for The Craft-Room challenge DT

Well another 2 weeks have flown past and it is time for another challenge over at Craft-Room challenge and this time it was my turn to choose the theme. I use so many die cuts and punches on all my cards that I thought this would be a great challenge, and easy to do, but because I chose the challenge and felt I wanted to do something special I found I had my first case of Cardmaker's block! In all the years of making cards I have never struggled for a theme or style before. So I dug out all my dies and punches(they wouldn't all fit on my table!) and came up with the creation below, I hope you like it :o)

No DP's for this, just 2 xcut die cut circles, one pink(embossed) 1 back (plain) I have inked the base card with pink and black. I have used a die cut butterfly that comes in 2 pieces to create the butterfly and inked the white section with pink and used gems to decorate. (I don't know who created this die, but it is a thin die)

Die cut and punched flowers, leaves, butterflys and swirls with black gems as the centres and a black velvet covered brad for the centre of the largest one.

The 3 larger flowers are marianne design die cuts and the smaller flowers are xcut punches.

My Eldest nephew's Christmas pressie(part of it anyway!)

Well my eldest nephew is a big Formula 1 fan and his bedroom is black and cream! So I hope he likes the wall canvas I have created for him :o)

Have a closer look.

The dotted backgroubnd paper isfrom stampin' up. The B&W flag I found on the internet and used it as another background.

The racing car was found on a search on google and has been printed the coloured in with pro markers, cut out then attatched with silicon glue

The Kenny K image( pitstop penny) has been printed large, then coloured with pro markers and cut and glued like the car

The flag sentiment I created on the computer using the flags I found on the internet. I have then backed it onto a nestoes die cut, and liquid pearled the scallops.

My son's Xmas pressies for his class mates!!

I have finally finished them! Theo's prsents for his classmates, only 9 in his class so not too many to do :o) I have used large card bags and shared tattos, wrist bands, lolloies chocoalte coins and a bag of reindeer poop in each, the girls have hair bands and the boys have a wooden beaded wrist band that I have made. I have decorated the tops using a pice of card folded over, then attatched some paper and added the die cut circle/scalloped circle to it and coloured the images in Pro markers.

My Nephew's Christmas pressie(well part of it anyway!)

Well my nephew's bedroom is apparently brown and green and he loves campervans, so I have made him a wall canvas to hang in his room, I hope he likes it!!

The papers are from my stash, so old I have no idea where they came from!! The corrugated card has been in my stash for even longer!

I have used this gorgeous Squidgy digi campervan(they do a fab female version too if you are interested!) I have coloured it with pro markers then sprayed with spray and shine by crafters companion to protect it. I have cut it out and attatched with silicon, I added my nephews name for the number plate, and used glossy accents to make it shiny.

My card for today was comissioned for 2 very special lttle boys, now I know their birthday was in December but I can't remember the date, so sorry if I am a bit early.

I have used Pink petticoat papers and an xcut boarder punch.

The image is Tommy(sports) from Stampfairy and I have used him twice and flipped him over, the names have been put under the image on the computer. I have coloured them with pro markers. I have used twine and card candi to embellish.

Both sentiment and age have been created on my computer, inked and mounted onto scalloped cirlces by nesties dies

DT projecct for Craft-Room challenge 'make your own flowers'

Well we had some truly inspirational entries to our travel/postcard challenge this fortnight, so let's see what you can do with our new challenge at Craft-Room challenge this time. Our challenge is 'make your own flowers' Now I did wonder what to do for this challenge until I thought 'My husbandnever buys me flowers!'

Well nowhe won't have to as I have created my own that sit on our dining room table! I hope you like them.

Here is a photo of the items I have used for this project, A vase that was on sale for £3! a bag of pot pourri, some garden sticks,green and black card, and a spellbinders flower die.

here are the flowers cut out and partly put together, I have used a flower on each side of the stick and glued the largest petals together so that you don't see the stick inside!

A close up of the floers, I have used a large pearl gem at the centre the gems around it to create the flower centre, I have just trimmed thick card stock very thinly and it swirls naturally for the black stalks

A close up of the vase decoration, created with the same flower but I have added a marianne creatables die swirl to it with gems
