Inspiration card for Chalk N Stock

Well it is inspiration day for me at chalk n stock and here is my inspiration for you today!

All shading and colouring and distressing on this card has been done using CHALKS!!  Yes that's right, so easy and so quick!!  I Embossed the cogs background onto white card and then used 2 shades of brown chalk to give it a distressed look by rubbing it on with cotton wool.  I then backed the piece with brown card. The bronze metal flowers and clock charm are from my stash and the mini gems are also from my stash

Here is my project for the hop

I have made a wall Hanger for my eldest son as a Christmas decoration as I have already made my youngest son one.  I have used marianne creatables die for the larger circle and a nesties die for the red inner circle and an xcut die for the circle in the centre which I have embossed with a snowflake embossing foldler

DT post for forever night challenges 'How dark can you go'

And here is my Hand covered and decorated notepad

I have covered this notepad  in black card and then decorated using a spotted black piece of paper, some white ribbon, an xcut lace border punch at the top of the pad and black gems to decorate, I have used a dotty embossing folder for the next layer and the image has been printed and coloured on the last layer.  The image is a Sassy studios image called 'Little Honey's Maleficent'  and I have coloured her with pro markers

I have used some old paper from my stash for the background, I think it is a Dove craft pack, but so much of it has gone now, and the cover too I cannot be sure!!, I have used a Nesties die circle and added some ribbon from my stash across the centre.  The happy birthday sentiment I created on my computer

DT card for Craft Room Challenge 'Make a tag'

Well it is good to be back for this fortnights challenge at Craft Room Challenge and the theme this fortnight is

'Make a tag'

And here is my tag

The santa is a rubber stamped sugar nellie image.  I have used Marianne creatables die cuts for the 2 larger circular layers and spellbinders scalloped circle and xcut circle for the other 2 layers.  The circle I have embossed with a snowflake embossing folder. The santa image has been cut out and attached with foam pads and coloured with foam pads and glitter glue .  The holly dies are from marianne creatables and I have added mini gems for the berries.

DT card for OSAAT #143 'More than 1 fold'

Welcome to another challenge at OSAAT this week and our challenge is 

'More than one fold'

I have just used a scrap piece of red card I had lying on my desk and used it to create the base of a double easel card.  I haven't even measured  it so I don't know what size it is it just looked right!!

I have then die cut 2 xcut scalloped hearts and 2 xcut normal hearts to create the easel and embossed the black heart centres with a heart embossing folder, all the images, base heart included are from Reece's scrap pieces, a set called 'I'm too old for you' at the stitchy bear store.

I have coloured the images with pro markers

DT project for Forever Night challenge 'Add Lace'

Welcome to a new challenge at Forever Night Challenge and our theme this week is

and here is my Wall canvas

I have painted the canvas in white acrylic paint, waited for it to dry, then painted black spots , which I highlighted with a white sakura gelly roll pen once dry.  I have used large gems on either side of the image and then small square gems down the side, I have also used a gem chain across the top and bottom

This fabulous image is called Cruella by Sassy studios, I have coloured the image in pro markers and added black glitter to make the spots on the coat
