2 crafting cards using fabulous digi'd by BB Kakes at the Stitchy Bear digi outlet

Well i have been pretty quiet lately apart from my DT creations and a few bits of crochet that I have been fitting in anywhere and everywhere. That is because we have a few health issues going on in our household at the moment and I am finding it increasingly hard to find the time to sit down at my craft desk and just CRAFT. My husband has been having blackouts and is no longer allowed to drive so all of the ferrying of the children and food shopping etc that he used to help with has fallen on me so time is precious.  

I did however make the time to use these 2 gorgeous digi's available from the stitchy bear digi outlet 

because I just couldn't resist them!!

DT mid challenge inspiration for Chalk N Stock

Well you still have a week left to be able to enter our April challenge over at Chalk N Stock this month, remember it is always anything goes as long as there is some chalk somewhere on you project!

Here is my project to show you today, an easel card notepad holder and pen using the gorgeous Pretty cow Freebie from Bugaboo this week

I have used Bo Bunny spotty papers,pen and notepad from the range, and black card for mounting.

Sentiment is by the Stamp fairy

Pretty cow digi is by Bugaboo and has been coloured using chalks

Spellbinders die cut with ribbon threaded through

Notepad using black card to cover and gems and ribbon to decorate.

A crochet break!

Well I have something a little different for you today! I have been taking a little break from my card making except for my DT pieces as you might have guessed from my lack of posts lately. Instead I have caught the crochet bug!! I just love bringing these things to life here are a few of the hats I have made recently beautifully modelled by my two sons!!

These hats have been created using patterns by The lovely crow

This great beach hat pattern I have used for my son Jake's beach hat as every one I by him is too small as he has a BIG head!! the pattern is from Snappy Tots

A here is Plutonium Paul the alien monster hat by Ira Rott I have also done him in female colours and call her Paulina!!

I have used some old spotty papers from my stash, no Idea who by, sorry!

Side/inside view

This cute little guy is called 'Spotty Dotty Monster' by Hope Jacare Doodles at the stitchy bear digital outlet I have used a few pro markers to shade him and colour the eyes and then I have used Liquid pearls to colour the spots and it makes them all shiny!! 

I have created the sentiment on my computer and used scraps of ribbon to decorate.

DT post for Delicious doodles 'Anything Goth'

Welcome to a new challenge at Delicious Doodles with team A and our theme is

'Anything Goth'

Here is my project, a door Plaque!

I have used a base MDF board by Vixx craft storage

I used a brick embossing folder and inked it for a distressed/gothy look, attached wire to hang and wrapped cross stitch thread around it and hung a skeleton charm from my stash

This fabulous image is called 'Gates of hell' coloured with pro markers and the demon has been covered in glossy accents for the shiny scaly look

The gargoyle digi is from the gargoyle corner set and I have used glossy accents on the eyes

I created the sentiment on my computer, but used the Gargoyle frame  to surround it
