A Hidden secret!

Morning all, not so nice here today, hope it is better where you are!

This mornings card has a little suprise hidden, hope you like it.

The backing papers I have used have been in my paper stash for years, they were free with a magazine years ago, but I don't know which one.  I have layered them onto pink card, and used a fiskars boarder punch on the edges.

I have used an ebossing folder on the top pink layer that has been matted onto green card and a boarder punch has been used.

The cat image is a Lili of the valley stamp called 'Puss in Boots'.  It has been stamped onto a Nellie Snellen die cut that has been inked with green and pink and I have added pink and green gems around the edge. The lable says Twist me because........

..... here is the hidden suprise.

This saying is from Doodle pantry digis, their victorian shoe package.

The birthday circle is from Crafty sentiments and the flowers are Xcut punches which I have punched out of the papers and used a flower centre punch and a gem in the centre.  The swirl is a Marianne creatable die.

Graduation

Good morning and what a stuffy one it is!  I could do with getting into another cold shower to cool off already.  I know  we shouldn't complain because it is lovely to have the sun and heat, but maybe it could come out after I have finished the housework!!

So this mornings card is another simples creation.  I hope you like it.

I have used Pink petticoat download papers for the backing on this card and a bit of threading on the top layer.

The Image is a 'Penny Black' stamp called 'congra-duate'  I have used pro markers to touch up the image with a bit of highlighting and used mini black pearls in the 4 corners.

I have created the sentiments on my computer and punched them out, then inked around the edge.

Anything but a card.

What a beautiful sunny morning it is today.  I hope you are all enjoying the lovely weather we have had for the last 2 days.  I have a lovely rudolph shade nose from our trip out yesterday, where we were all organized and took the Sun cream and hats, but ended up leaving them in the car!!  Typical  :o)

So today I have tried something different.  No card but an altered photo frame.

Here it is standing up!

I found a very cheap purple photo frame a few days ago and thought I might be able to do something with it!  So I used black stazon ink and went around the edges of the fram inside and out.  I then stamped the details in the same ink around the frame from an Inkadinkado stamp set.  I have used gems , sakura glitter pen and liquid pearls to decorate.

I used a Kate Knight paper for the backing in all 3 panels.  i then wrapped thrread around the first one.  The fairy is a pergamano fairy stamp and has been cut out with a nellie snellen die which has been inked with purple and black, then liquid pearled.  The image has been coloured with pro markers then glittered on the wings.

The flower is again my unknown stamp with added buttons for the centre

here is a close up of the outside.

Here is the card I made with the Knickerbocker Glory stamp set.

I have created my own backing paper by altering the stamp colours in Serif page plus 7.  I then covered the whole sheet with pink, brown and yellow knicker bockers!  The stitches have been made using alternate yellow, pink and brown cross stitch thread.

I have wrapped the same colour cross stitch thread around the topper and tied a bow.  The icecream has been coloured in pro markers, then cut out and attached with foam pads to make it stand out.The sentiment has been printed out, then cut out with an Nellie Snellen die, inked and liquid pearled

The birthday sentiment has been punched out then attatched to another Nellie Snellen die cut and a cherry charm has been added.

Here is a close up of the backing paper

I have also used the backing paper for inside the card.

What a guy!

Good afternnon all.  OMG I am having the worst day!  My computer died last night, just cut out and did some majorly weird stuff.  New it was on the fritz but thought I had a bit more time.  Anyway, I have managed to start it this morning and am trying to back up all my beloved digistamps.  NOT GOING WELL!!!!.    I need a miracle!  any one got one going spare?

I am going to try and post this card as I am actually on here but If it doesn't load properly bear with me please!

I have used a dotty embossing folder for the background and trimmed all the corners with a corner punch.
You may have noticed the image is not coloured, this is for a specific challenge at My partner in crafting crime! and also shows that Karen's digi's are so fab they don't need colours.  I have inked around the main white image sheet with orange brown and black.

The image is from Karen's doodles called 'born to ride' I have wrapped 2 colours of thread around the bottom of the image and hung a charm motorcycle form mystash.  I have added brads to the corners.

The sentiment was a freebie from a website, but I have lost itat the moment (sorry, if you know where it came from please let me know!)  It has beeninked around the edge with orange brwon and black.

The flower I have made myself using the same thread and a button!

Pearls and flowers

Good morning everyone.  I have had to leave early today so I am scheduling this and I will link my card to the challenges when I get back tonight.  My sons and I all have dentist appointments :o(  and unfortunately we are registered at a dentists over an hour and a half away!

So here is today's card

I have used backing paper from the Paper craft essentials 'Sweet Wishes' paper stack and layered it onto thin pink card.

The image has been cut out with the largest nesties scalloped oval die which has been inked around the edge and liquid pearled in the scallops.  The image is from Mo's digital pencil called 'Angelina's Ballons'

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Craft as are the pearls.

The birthday sentiment circle is from a site I can't find at the moment and will link when I remember where I got it from(sorry)  It has been punched out and inked around the edge.

I have cut 2 strips of the card I used as matting on the bottom and used a Fiskars boarder punch down one side of each.  I have then attatched some lace and then put white and pink pearls on top.

I will be entering this card in the following challenges
