Time to party!

Well here is the second quick card of the day.  It is also my sisiters birthday in January and I had to make her card before we try to travel down to Cornwall tomorrow!  Still covered in 5 inches of snow outside our door here.  Theo is no longer complaining that he never has any snow but is now saying he has had enough of it!!  lol.

This card is based loosely on the totaly papercrafts challenge, Time to Party!.
The backing paper is again a freebie from a magazine.

The image is also coloured with pro markers, seems to be my medium of choice at the moment because it is so quick!

The flower are paper flowers from my stash, and the sentiment has been stamped and cut out with a  circular punch.

Hope you like it, and please leave a comment :o)

Kenny K Challenge 23 'Let it Snow'

Well it has been several days since I have posted anything, but I have been rather busy making everybodies christmas pressies!  They are all along the lines of this challenge piece and I have had to make 7 of them.  Thought I printed out enough pictures for my sisters as well but alas, they will have to have one another time, cause it has taken me long enough to make these!

Well here is one of the pressies.  It is a wall hanging photo/scrap thing!

kennyK image christmas shopping has been used and coloured with pro markers, Heart boarder punch.  Papers for matting and layering

Flock has been used on the boots and glitter on the fur.  Nestabilities scalloped oval and a snowflake embossing folder.
Sbnowflakes have been made using marianne creatables dies.

I have added glitter to he edges of the snowflakes.

This seems to have taken days, but it was worth it!.  I am very happy with the result.

Kenny K challenge 22 'Monochromatic'

well it has been a few days since I have managed to post any cards but here is my entry to the http://kennykkraftygirlzchallenges.blogspot.com/ challenge 'Monochromatic'.  My cousin has here 40th birthday a month before mine and here is the card I am going to send to her.  I have used the KK image Drama Queen for this and used browns, fawns and beiges as the colour scheme.

I used a butterfly corner punch, and a butterfly punch to adorn the four corners.

The sentiments have been created on the computer and punched out using a circularpunch,
although the 40 was stamped using the papermania forever friends numbers.

The image was coloured using pro markers, and the nestabilities lable the image has been foam paddedto has been embossed using an embossing folder and inked.  The fur on th coat has been flocked.

I am also entering this card into the http://delightfulsketches.blogspot.com/ challenge ' embossing'

Golfing Mad!

Well here is a card I have created for a comission.  I always worry about these and whether they will like it or not.  Hope they do!

This card is for a teenager who likes Golf, not much else to say really!
I have matted and layered blue themed backing papers with a dark blue boarder.  I then used a nestability scalloped oval die and embossed it with a dotty embossing folder and inked around the edge.

The golfer image is a Kenny K image which I have coloured with pro markers and the cup was a stamp off of the papermania onion plays football range.

The happy birthday sentiment are stamps (can't remember the name of the company at the moment but am sure it will come back to me in a minute!lol)  I have stamped Sports mad into the capital letters and then used a clear glaze on the top, then cut them out and raised them with foam pads.  Elliot has been computer generated and punched with a circular scalloped punch, then layered with 3 different papers to match the matting and layering, and a piece of black ribbon has been stapled to it to make it look like a rossette.

Hope you like it.

It Snowed, well only just! lol

So we finally had the elusive white stuff my son has been waiting for but was it worth all the excitement?  It was about half a centimeter thick and lasted all of an hour before it started melting!lol  Well at least he got to throw one snowball.

Anyway on to todays card.  This card has been designed for the new Kenny K challenge at http://kennykkraftygirlzchallenges.blogspot.com/  Think pink.  I have used one of the new Krash Kittens images 'Megan Foxy' for this challenge, and some free papers for the matting and layering.
I have used a nestabilities die and an embossing folder which I have inked,  and used a boarder punch to make the ribbon backing.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid and the leaves have been punched.

The sentiment has been stamped onto a nestability die and inked around the edges, and the bike charm has been hung on a chain.

The image has been coloured with promarkers.

Hope you all like it.

Freezing cold and still no snow!!

Well I think my son might be right and he is some kind of snow repelant, we still have no snow but it is cold enough to freeze your pants off outside!lol.  On to todays card, and maybe I should be thankful we have no snow for all the sensible reasons, which leads me into the challenge I am going to be entering this card into!
http://stampchallenges.blogspot.com/ challenge 'Thankful'
The Greeting is stamped and I have used flowers from wild orchid and puched leaves and die cut flourishes to embellish.

This is a Greeting Farm stamped image that I coloured with pro markers.

Hope you like it.
