Doodles!

Well it's another grey morning here in Sidmouth.  I hope it's nicer where you are!  For todays card I have decided to do something a little different.

So here it is!
I have used The papermaia clear stamp Doodle set for this project, red and yellow ink, and some embellies.
I have stamped the paisley design straight onto the card base, then inked with red and yellow.  I have then stamped the large and small pointed flowers onto the next layer and inked in the ssame way.
The sketch for this is from Sketch saturday.  The triangle pieces have been stamped and inked in the same way using bothe the paisley and pointed flowers.

The butterfly has been stamped, then cut out, then inked as above.  I have then shaped it and added mini red gems to the wings.

The flowers have been stamped using red and yellow paper/ card then cut out, I have then added pearl gems to the centre of each.  The swirls are a Marianne creatables die cut.

The happy birthday is also from a papermania clear stamp set 'sentiments'

I will be entering this card into the following challenges

I hope you like it.

Swirls and pearls again!

Well we seem to be back to that old song 'Here comes the rain again!'  I would much rather have the sun back please.
And onto todays card.

The silver and black backing papers is from Anita's classic Christmas black papers, the blue card matted top layer has been embossed with a swirl embossing folder.  The doily in the back has been slightly inked with a blue ink.

The image is a Kenny K digi stamp called 'devilish Donna' from the Gothik Angelz collection.  I have coloured her with pro markers, and glittered the wings.  She is standing on the medium Nellie snellen multi frame rectangles, which I have inked with blue and black, then liquid pearled around the edge.

I have used 3 black Marabou feathers in the top corner and put a flower from wid orchid crafts, and used 2 die cut swirls cut out with a Marianne creatables die, I have then added pearls to the end of each swirl.  In the bottom corner I have used a faux metalic corner, again from Wild orchid crafts.

The sentiment was created on my computer then cut out with a 1" circular punch.  It has then been inked and mounted onto another Nellie Snellen die cut from the circles multiframe set.

I will be entering this card into the following challenges

I hope you like it, and thanks for looking.

Fairy princess in her castle!

What another beautiful morning.  I hope it stays like this for the weekend!.
So here is today's card.
Well I tried something diferent with this card!  I had some ready cut card bases in my stash but have never used them because they were too flimsy.  So I cut one in half,  Trimmed off a DL card and added the castle section to the top of it!  I decorated the DL first then attatched the castle.  The papersa I have used are from Pink petticoat and I have matted and layered with pink and green card. I have wrapped a piece of cross stitch thread around the centre panel.

The image I have used is from Karens doodles, she is justso sweet!  I have cloured her with pro markers, and layered her onto a medium sized scalloped oval nestabilities die that i have inked with green around the edge.  I have put 3 pearl gems in the corner, and hung a fairy charm from the cross stitch thread.

The castle top took quite some time as I had to measure and shape the triangles.  Aghh Not sure I will do another one in a hurry,  but I think i like the effect now that I have done it. The fairy wishes has been stamped onto a Nellie snellen multiframe die cut which has been inked around the edge, and I have tied a ribbon around the base of the turrets.

The card ended up being too long for an envelope, so I had to make a box for it.  I have used all the papers and layered them onto a pink sheet of card and made a quilt effect and used a fiskars lace border punch down the side of the sheet.  I have then attached a ribbon and added some pearl gems.

I will be entering this card in to the following challenges

What another beautiful morning we are having.  It is so warm out there it could be summer!  Or maybe that's just 'cause I never stopped chasing after my 18 month old so I couldn't feel the cold!! He he!

Oh exciting news, I have just made the top 3 in challenge 90 at moving along with the times so thank you ladies.

I have used a smallish nestability scalloped die and inked it around the edge with green ink for the image to stand on.  The image is a KK download called 'Club Kid' and I have coloured with pro markers and added a few pearls for effect.

The dream big sentiment is from a set of stamps( don't know where i got them or what they are called.  Sorry!)  I have layered it on top of 4 swirl die cuts from marianne creatables and cotton lace I had in my stash!.  The flowers are from Wild orchid.

I have added an arch of pearls in the 2 outer corners  and attached 2 charms to the ribbon

Well not so nice out there this mornig, but at least it's not raining.  I have to take my son to a birthday party soon so this has to be a quickie!
