Glitter and Gems

OMG what a beautiful morning, it's almost like summer and just as warm.  I hope you are all out enjoying the sunshine! Well for today's card I am showing you one that got started on monday, ready for the One stitch at a time challenge blog, then it got put aside when I was asked to be a GDT on the 3rd of April, then set back another day when I was asked to GDT on the 27th and then got left even longer when I was asked to join the design team!  I was too late to join the design team for this one anyway bt thought I might as well finish it so here is a last minute entry that got finished 10 minutes ago!

The backing paper is from a free Kate Knight paperpack that came with the Cardmaking and papercraft magazine

The image is a Bravura stamp, I have used green glitter for the ivy around her body.  I have stamped her wings again onto acetate then used glitter in them, and attatched using silicon glue for a 3D effect.

The butterflies have been done in the same way as the wings.  I have created a swirl with glue and attatched gems to it .

I will be entering this into the following challenges 'Diamonds are a girls best friend'

Hope you like it
