Daisy doodles Birthday Blog hop

Blog hop at Daisy Doodles

Well good morning everyone.  This is the first Blog hop I have ever hosted so please be patient with me as I don't want to forget anything!

Here is the Hop list

Nikki's NMCard Creations   You are here :o)

Joanne's Cardology
Welcome to Daisy Doodles BIG celebration blog hop. There is plenty to celebrate today, June 3rd.
You should be arriving from Lawren's blog. If not you may want to start at the beginning at Daisy Doodles

Jules the designer and creator of Daisy Doodles is celebrating her wedding anniversary today.
Daisys Digi Doodles Store has been opened exactly one year....every one wish Jules, her husband and
the store a great BIG HAPPY Happy!!
There is a big 50% off sale at the store going on this weekend June 3-5, too! You may want to head over there after the hop or right now to get that image that you have been wanting to enter Daisy's challenges. June 15th there will be a mini challenge at the DD Creative Challenge blog ...a Daisy Doodles image must be used to participate and win a gift certificate to the store!!
The image here on my blog is Knickerbocker glory 2 stamp set.

You can win it by becoming a follower and leaving a comment. One lucky winner will be chosen at random and win the image that is shown.( all comments must be left by 5th June)
At the end of the hop you will have a chance to win the image of your choice by random draw
if you have commented on each blog on the hop. The list of all the stops is available to those who may get lost or have trouble linking on any of the teams stops along the way.
Now head on over to Shelly's blog and see what's in store for you there!

The sketch for the blog hop challenge is

Stitch of Love.png

The card size is optional.

Here is the card I made with the Knickerbocker Glory stamp set.

I have created my own backing paper by altering the stamp colours in Serif page plus 7.  I then covered the whole sheet with pink, brown and yellow knicker bockers!  The stitches have been made using alternate yellow, pink and brown cross stitch thread.

I have wrapped the same colour cross stitch thread around the topper and tied a bow.  The icecream has been coloured in pro markers, then cut out and attached with foam pads to make it stand out.The sentiment has been printed out, then cut out with an Nellie Snellen die, inked and liquid pearled

The birthday sentiment has been punched out then attatched to another Nellie Snellen die cut and a cherry charm has been added.

Here is a close up of the backing paper

I have also used the backing paper for inside the card.

I AM ENTERING THIS CARD INTO THE FOLLOWING CHALLENGES

I hope you like it.

Have a great hop :o)

Hugs
