DT card/project for OSAAT 'Things with wings'

Well it is Sunday again, so it must be time for a new challenge over at One stitch at a time.  Our theme this week is 'Things with wings'
Our sponsor this week is

and you could win a £10 voucher

Don't forget in order to be chosen for the top 3 you need to use a digi from the stitchy bear store, and if you sign up for the newsletter you will get a freebie each month so you will soon build up your stamps!

For this challenge I have been lucky enough to create 2 projects , 1 for Glitterbabes digis and 1 for Panda bear designs.

I tried something different here!  I haven't used parchment for ages so I decided to give it a go with this digi as it cried out for something soft and cloudy.  I have attatched a piece of black lace across the base of the card, and used nesties scalloped lace square dies for the base of the topper

The digi is called 'Angel head' and I have cut it out using the parchment craft technique and not a pair of scissors

I have used Marianne creatable dies to create the flower and swirls, I have added a Pearl brad for the centre of the flower and pearl gems to the end of the swirls

I will be entering this project into the following challenges

For my next project I have used the 'Garen fairy kit 1' and used one of the colour selections to create this altered notebook.  I have tied ribbons down the spiral spine and used a piece of ribbon at the top long enough to use as a book marker

An Xcut boarder punch has been used to decorate the edges of the paper ribbon that seperates the 2 panels.
I have then cut out a black piece of card with a Nellie Snellen multiframe scalloped oval.  The fairy image has been decoupaged using sillcon for a stronger base.

I have cut out the fowers from the set in 2 different sizes and added them to the top and bottom of the oval along with some marianne creatable swirls. I have then added mini gems to the oval

The circular gems are part of the set, I have just added them onto a Nellie snellen die cut and used glossy accents to make it look more authentic.

I will be entering this project into the following challenges

Thank you for stopping by and for any lovely comments you may leave.

Hugs

Nikki
