Flowers!

Well you might have noticed I have been a bit absent recently apart from posting my DT pieces, but life has been getting in the way, my son has settled into his new school at last and my hubby is now on the local teaching supply list and me!  Well, I am having to get used to walking my son to school each day, now I know 20 mins each way does not sound very far, but when you are not used to doing any exercise at all then 1hr 20 mins of exercise for the day tends to wear you out!!   I am knackered!!!!!!  But I know it is good for me and hopefully I will start to lose some of the excess weight too!!

Well here is a card I have managed to make for you today in between the trips to the school playground :o)

I have used some of my gorgeous new bearly mine papers for the backing, matted with red and black and an xcut border punch

Side/inside view

This gorgeous image is from hope jacare doodles at the stitchy bear store and has been cut out with an xcut circle die, then matted onto a scalloped circle nesties die, I have then coloured it with pro markers and used liquid pearls around the scallops

This gorgeous die butterfly is from joy crafts, and is such a pleasure to use

The flower is a Marianne creatables die and the leaves come with i t!

I will be entering this card into the following challenges
http://craftsandmechallenges.blogspot.co.uk/ favourite colours(black,red and white)
http://thecraftypad.blogspot.co.uk/ april showers bring may flowers

Thanks for stopping by

Hi Nikki,
your card is gorgeous, and I am in love with that marianne flower die!! I am really pleased you decided to link up with our challenge at THE CRAFTY PAD, but need to let you know you've linked up to our MONTHLY 'Showcase a TCP Image' challenge, instead of our WEEKLY 'April Showers Bring May Flowers' challenge! We'd love to see you add your link to the weekly challenge, so I do hope you get time to sort it! Thanks for playing.
