DT card for OSAAT 'collab Job/career' challenge 73

OMG is it Sunday again already?!!!   Well it must be time for another OSAAT challenge then!  I am having a lovely time here in Bude Cornwall, England, on  holiday, but that is a far cry from this weeks theme at OSAAT which is 'Job/career'!

The papers for this card are from K & company Roam Paper pack.  I have used Xcut die cut circles to cut them out!

The image is from stitchy called 'truckin'  and has also been cut out with the Xcut die circles and has then been coloured with pro markers. I have used liquid pearls around the outside, and inked around the edge.

The Keep on trucking roundie sentiment is again part of the collab and from stitchy, I have punched it out and layered it onto a nellie snellen die cut.

GDT card for Amber's craft & stuff 'Patterned papers'

Well good morning all, here is my Guest design crard for the 'Patterned papers' challenge at Amber's craft & stuff.  Such a great honour to be asked to be a guest designer so thank you Amber, and I hope you all like my card :o)

The Design papers used for this card are from the stitchy bear store called  'Steampunk papers'

The image is called 'Tattoo's and feathers' and is a digi stamp by Delicious doodles. Also available at the store.  I have cut her out with a Nellie Snellen multiframe die and inked with green around the edge, then heat embossed some bronze around the outside edge and added some mini gems to alternate scallops.  She has been coloured with pro markers.

The cogs are another digi stamp from delicious doodles that i have cut out using scissors and a craft knife, and then heat embossed with the same bronze powder, I added some gems to the centres

The metallic leaves and flowers are from my stash, and I have added gems to the centre of the flowers.

DT card for Craft-Room Challenge 'Summer holiday'

Well here we are again, another 2 weeks have flown by and it is time for another challenge her at Craft-room challenge.  The theme this fortnight is Summer Holiday and as I am  now home in Bude for my Summer holiday the theme is very apt!  You all did amazingly well at our butterfly challenge last fortnight, and I hope to see you all again this fortnight.

I have used my minds eye summer papers for the backing on this card and an Xcut heart boarder punch

The image is called 'Kate chilling' and is a digi stamp from the stitchy bear store and she has been cut out with a scalloped nesties die that has been inked around the edge.  She has been coloured with pro markers and I have used glossy accents on the rubber ring and the glass.

The flower is my favourite unknown stamp!  which has been coloured with pro markers, I have added a button for the centre, the swirls are marianne creatables  and I have added pearl gems to the ends and to the scallops on the nesties die.

I created the sentiment on my computer and punched it out, thin inked the edge.  I have mounted it onto a nellie snellen die cut and hug a charm from my stash onto it.

DT card for OSAAT 'Pearls and swirls' challenge 72

Plain and simple this week !  Just some black card layered onto silver mirror paper for the backing  papaers and a scalloped oval nestie, embossed with swirls for the image to sit on, I have also inked the edge of the nesties die. The silver and gem strip down the side was in my stash, I bought it from a craft show last year but can't remember who from!

The image is from Barbara Jensen at the stitchy bear store and it is called 'Black widow' I have coloured her in pro markers and added pearl gems to her belt. she has been cut out and mounted with foam pads.

The sentiment is a roundies digi stamp from the stitchy bear store and has been layered onto  a Nellie Snellen die cut out of silver mirri card and I have hung a Diva charm from it.

The swirls are a Marianne creatable die cut out of silver mirri card and I have added pearl gems to the end.

Hair slide tidy!

Well good evening all, I have been given another day's grace by my husband and am not leaving until tomorrow, so here is one of the projects I have been working on today.  Now I have seen something similar to this made out of fabric and felt, and I wondered if I could make something similar out of card.  Here is the result!

Steampunk

Well good morning, I must apologise for my absense the last few days an explain that there will be fewer post from me for the next 5 weeks as I will be away on my summer break with my family.  I have been finishing all my DT projects this last week and there are plenty of them let me tell you!  And I will be posting them from home, but I have very little craft stuff at my home and very little space to take any home so I won't be making anythingnew over the next 5 weeks!  Here is possibly my last card , although I might have time to post one tomorrow before I leave? I will have to see whatI can get done today!

I have used K&K Roam DP's for the backing paper on this card and a Tim Holtz Clock die cut.

The image are from the new Steampunk collection at Make it crafty digi's.  This one is called Clockworks house.

This one is called Anabelle, They have both been coloured with pro markers and attatched with foam pads.

Exciting News! There's a New Kid in town!

Well good morning everyone,  I am so excited about what I have got to tell you this morning I don't know where to start! 

I am one of the DT members for the new Kelley Kid's challenge blog :o) 

This is such wonderful opportunity as I love her digi stamp images, and I have just worked on my first 2 projects and I am well happy with how they have turned out! You will have to wait to see them tho as the first challenge isn't until the 3rd of August AND you will be able to use the one and only freebie you will recieve from the site as it is our opening challenge, so make the most of it!!!

DT card for OSAAT 'Flowers' challenge

And onto my cards, as I have been lucky enough to make 2 projects this week :o)

I have used some old freebie papers from a magazine for the backing papers on this card and layered them with pink and yellow.

The digi stamp is called 'Birthday Lucy ' by Recce's scrap pieces.  I have cut her out witha nesties scalloped circle and coloured her with pro markers. I have then used different small flower pucnhes to creat the frame around the edge and used gems in the centres of the flowers.

The sentiment is from a Lili of the valley set and has been punched out and inked with yellow and pink, then more flower and leaf punches have been used to create the embellie at the top.

And onto my second card

I have used backing papers from Kate Knight that were free with a magazine about a year ago! I have cut the image out with a nesties lace square then wrapped ribbon around the edge.

I have printed the image 4 times , coloured it with pro markers then decoupaged it up.  I have used flower soft for the very tiny flowers at the top of the picture.

The sentiment is from a fizzy moon set of stamps and has been punched out and I have again used small flower punches to make a frame around it, with gems at their centres.

Use a Bear!

Good morning everyone.  Well I didn't get as much done yesterday as I'd hoped, I got a couple of DT projects finished,but you can't see them yet!  One of my favourite TV programmes started again last night 'Torchwood' so of cousrse I had to watch it and then I just couldn't settle back down to crafting.  So here is another of my notepads today and I will try and get you something different tomorrow! :o)

Gingham!

Good morning everyone, it looks like it's going to be a lovely day here in Sidmouth today.  I am off to deliver my first lot of comissiond notepad holders, 32 of them I did altogether, so she has a bit of choice as she only wants 24:o)  Has taken me forever to finish as my 2 boys were not particularly well behaved for the last 2 weeks, but they are all done now so I hope she likes them!!!

Unfortunately that means I haven't had much time to make other things, so I will be showing you the notepads intermitently over the next month to try and fill in any gaps I might have as I am also going away for just over a month and will not be able to take most of my crafting stash :o(  Boo hoo!
