Teen Canvas

Good afternoon all, hope you are having a good one?  Another quick post today, I made this this morning with my new digi purchase from Kelley's Kids  at the stichy bear store as I see Kelley's kids challenge blog is having a DT call :o)  The term will last 4 months. Pop by and check it out. There are such gorgeous goodies in the stitchy bear store, stop by and have a look :o)

So here is another canvas, I have again created the background using Twinkling H2O's, then spalshed some silver calligraphy ink on to give a shimmery  effect( my favourite technique at the moment :o).  I have inked around the frame in black stazon, then wrapped crossstitch therad around the frame creating corners and a centre hanging piece.

Here is a side view while the canvas is hanging.

The image is called Starlite goth and she has been coloured with pro markers and her wings have been glittered.  I have used 2 layers of her to created  some visual depth.  I have also used a real bead/gem for her earing and gems for her buttons.

The sentiment is a stamp from and inkadinkadoo set, and I have stampedit onto a nesties lable.  The spider charm is from my stash I have just added a gem to it's stomach.  The flowers are again my favourite stamp of the moment and have been coloured with pro markers and glittered.  The leaves are marianne creatables die cuts and have been heat embossed to help protect them.

The swirls are again marianne creatable die cuts and have been heat embossed with clear and silverpowder to help protect them, I have added gems to the ends and buttons to the centre of the flowers.
