The sketch for the blog hop challenge is

The card size is optional.

Here is the card I made with the Knickerbocker Glory stamp set.

I have created my own backing paper by altering the stamp colours in Serif page plus 7.  I then covered the whole sheet with pink, brown and yellow knicker bockers!  The stitches have been made using alternate yellow, pink and brown cross stitch thread.

I have wrapped the same colour cross stitch thread around the topper and tied a bow.  The icecream has been coloured in pro markers, then cut out and attached with foam pads to make it stand out.The sentiment has been printed out, then cut out with an Nellie Snellen die, inked and liquid pearled

The birthday sentiment has been punched out then attatched to another Nellie Snellen die cut and a cherry charm has been added.

Here is a close up of the backing paper

I have also used the backing paper for inside the card.

Guest design card for Daisy Doodles 'Red white and blue'

Good morning to you all!  I am not out of bed yet but hope the sun is shining on you wherever you are!  It is Monday again, which means it must be time for another challenge over at Daisy doodles and this Monday the challenge is 'Red white and blue'/Memorial day.

No backing papers for this little beauty, just an embossed centre panel, matted onto blue and red and a plain white card matted onto the same blue and red underneath.

I have used is called 'In the dog house' from here and I have coloured it with pro markers, cut it out and attathced with foam pads.

I have cut out 4 blue triangles and layered them onto red, faux stitched around in black and written home putting one letter on each banner.  I have threaded cross stitch thread though for an authentic look.

The flowersw are from an xcut punch, large and small, and the leaves have also been punched with a woodware punch.

Make sure you pop on over and check out the digi's at Daisy Doodles and join us with the challenge for the next 2 weeks.

I will be entering this card into the following challenges

Guest design Tableau Tuesday for Daisy Doodles.

Well good morning everyone I will see you all in about 4 hours when I wake up!!  Hope this schedules ok, what with all the trouble we had last week with blogger!

So here I am again at Daisy doodles using their gorgeous digis.  Today I didn't have a set challenge, so I just did what I fancied!!  And here it is.

For this card I used My minds eye 'summer papers' for the backing papers and lyered them onto green paper, using a fiskars border punch for the top layer.  I then die cut a Nesties lace square and wrapped it with ribbon for the image to sit on.

The image is called 'Bloomin potty' and it is so easy to use!  I printed it 4 times, coloured it and decoupaged to give it some dimension.  I have coloured it with pro markers.

The sentiment is from a Fizzy moon set of stamps and I have punched it out inked around the edge and used mini gems for the center of the flowers.

The charm is from my stash.

I will be entering this card into the following challenges

Daisy doodles Guest designer! I like driving in my car!

Well good morning folks.  It is 5am and I am afraid I am still sleeping!  But I have scheduled this post to come out at the right time!  I am so lucky to be able to design for http://daisydoodlescreativechallenges.blogspot.com/ This Month and my first creation is for  the challenge :- Use green pink, blue and Kraft(brown).  Why don't you come on over and have a play this month.  :o).

I have used the Love bug digi set for this one and I loved it. It is soo cute and has a car for male and female.  I used the cutie little female for this one.  The backing papers are from Pink petticoat and I have used brown card and a fiskars heart boarder punch for the middle panel.

I have coloured the image with pro markers and added a few gems to the flowers and glitter pen to the windshield.

The sentiment is from the same digi set I have just printed it, cut it out, inked around the edge and layered it onto brown card, and added a few minigems to the heart.  The charm is from my stash.

Well I hope you like it,  I had a blast making it, and look forward to next weeks!
