Dareama Fairy Canvas

Well good afternoon all, I am happy to finally be able to post this item, It has been made for a couple of months but was only published at the beginning if this month for Stitchy bear digi's in ther August edition of Papercraft Essentials magazine for their advertising.

So here it is!!

The canvas background has been painted in Twinkling H2O's and sprinkled with silver calligraphy ink.  I have then inked around the edge with black Stazon ink.

Side view of the canvas to show the depth

the image is called 'Dareama' from Beary dust stamps at the Stitchy Bear store.  She has been printed onto an A4 Sheet 3 times and painted with twinkling H2o's.  Her wings have been glittered and gemed, and she has been decoupaged up.

The sentiment is a stamp from an unknown set I have and has been stamped onto a nesties lable die cut which has then been inked around the edge and covered with versa clear and ultra thick embossing powder(clear) and heated.

The flowers and swirls are Marianne creatables die cuts, and have all been heat embossed with either silver or black powder and pearl gems have been used to decorate.

DT card for Craft-Room challenge 'White on white'

Well have 2 weeks gone by already?!  Where does the time go?  So This fortnights challenge at The Craft-Room Challenge has been chosen by me 'White on white'.  I just love the effect of this although it can be quite daunting.  But as we all love a challenge in our crafting this is my challenge for you!  Be brave and have a go you will probably suprise yourself and have a great time in the process.

Don't forget the winner will recieve a £10 voucher to spend in the Craft-Room Store

I have used a swirl embossing folder for the background, some lace as a border and a Square lace Nestie for my butterfly to rest on!  The Nestie has been glittered around the edge.

For the butterfly I have used a metallic stencil and pearl liquid embossing paste, a spatula to spread it throught the stencil.  Once the stencil has been taken off I have used a white(transparent) glitter to cover the butterfly and added 3 gems for its body and 2 for the feelers.

The flower is a Marianne creatables die as are the swirls, and I have added gems and pearls and glitter as an embellishment.

Thank you for stopping by.
