DT post for Gingerloft challenge blog

Welcome to my first Gingerloft DT challenge blog post.  I hope you like my interpretation of the sketch for this weeks challenge.  Don't forget that Gingerloft sponsor this challenge, so 3 digi images of your choice will go to the winner of the challenge.

Here is the card.

The backing paper I found in my stash, but I don't know where I got it from, was in a book but the cover went years ago!!  I have layered a piece of vellum across the centre of the card onto gold mirror card, and the largest lace square nestie has been cut from the same mirror card.

The image is from gingerloft clalled star godess and she has been cut out using a smaller square lace nestie and coloured with pro markers and had a few gems added to the flowers in her hair.

The metalic corner embellies are from Wild orchid crafts as are the flowers and pearls that decorate the left bottom corner.

The butterfly is from a die I have that has 4 different butterflies on it and I have used mini gems to decorate it and to show it's movement!

I will be entering this card into the following challenges

http://stampinroyalty.blogspot.com/ Spring
http://daringcardmakers.blogspot.com/ 'Spring'

Thanks for looking, I hope you like it.
