April showers!

And onto post 2!

The backing rainbow paper for this I found doing a google search for rainbow images!  I have used the sketch from the stampfairy challenge, but elongated it.  I have embossed awhite piece of card in the centre to look like raindrops?  not sure if I pulled it off!  Hee hee

The image is from stampfairy and I have coloured her with pro markers. She has been cut out with a nesties scalloped circle die, and the scalloped circle she is layered on i used pro markers to create a rainbow effect.

The flowers are from marianne creatables dies.

All of the sentiments have been created on my computer.

Spots and dots!

Welcome to blogland on another beautiful morning in Sidmouth.  My oldest finishes school at 12.30 today so we will be off to the beach this afternoon!

Onto todays card, well actually as I am going away for the weekend this is one of 3 cards I have ready so I will post them all today!.

I have just found the Pink petticoat website!  The backing papers are one of their downloads. I have also used blue card as a layering base.

The stamped image is from lili of the valley called 'football crazy'

The sentiment was created on my computer, and the charm is from my stash!

The buttons are also from my stash and I have used cross stitch thread inside.

Sparkle & shine

What a beautiful morning, the sun is shining and I am in my cropped trousers at last!  And here I am about to show you a Christmas card!!  Oh well at least it is shiny too!! Hee hee.

The backing papers are from the Kate Knight Christmas collection paper stack that was free with a Quick cards magazine, probably last year or the year before!  On the green layer I have put 2 stripes of lace down the sides.

The gingerbread house digi stamp background is from Karen's doodles, and I have cut it out with spellbinders nesties, lattice rectangles.  I have inked and glittered around the edge, and coloured the image in with pro markers. I have also added pink gems and mini gems and glitter to the image.  The Sentiment is from a See D's christmas set and has been stamped onto a Nellie Snellen multiframe die.

Tilda has been stamped and coloured with pro markers, with some glitter added to the fur on her coat.

The large snowflakes are Marianne creatables, and I have added glitter and gems, and the 2 small snowflakes are a tonic studio snowflake punch and I have again added glitter and a gem.

New challenge blog 'Diva's by design'

Oh no, another challenge blog I must add to my list!! Hee Hee! And one of my Favourite designers Vicky is in the Design team, so I will defo be checkin it out when it starts properly on the 4th of May. They are also having a DT call and here is the info for it.

Pink-a-licious!!

Oooh goodie!  The sun is out again, altho it is still a little cold! 
Todays card is PINK!  There is no other way to describe it really.  Take a look and you will see what I mean!.

The backing paper is from Pink petticoat, and I have embossed the next layer with my new cuttlebug embossing folder from the rock princess range.

The scalloped laced square is from my new nesties set( I just love them!!)  and I have inked around the edge. I have also wrapped cross stitch thread from each corner.

The image is a Kenny K digi stamp from the Glam gang range called 'Star'  I have coloured it with pro markers, and added mini gems to the guitar and Flock to the top of the boots.

The flower arrangement has been made from flowers from Wild Orchid crafts, the ribbon and guitar charm are from my stash

The happy birthday is a stamp from the do crafts sentiment set, and the lable die is another one of my new spellbinders dies. ( Do you think i might have been spending a little!)

Mr & Mrs!

And onto post 2!! 

I have used a plain square white card and used a heart border punch down the side then stuck maroon card inside to show behind.  I have layered the backing section onto 3D pads.  I have used a bird ans leaf swirl embossing folder and the same maroon card and heart border punch to createit.

The stamped image is a stmap by Docrafts, which I have stamped twice and decoupaged using foam pads.  I have coloured using pro markers.

The flowers and pins are from Wils orchid crafts, the swirls are a Marianne creatable die.

The Mr and Mrs sentiment is from the Do crafts anniversary set, I have stamped it onto the smallest scalloped oval nestie die and inked around the edge, the put a hole and hung 2 plastic hearts from my stash!

Sympathy (post 1)

Good afternoon blogland.  I am sorry I missed a day yesterday it was one of those days!!! I am sure we all get them. Didn't get near my crafting desk except for making the quickest sympathy card you would believe.  I had a knock at the door, can you make me a sympathy card by 5pm?  This was at 2pm.  It was finished by 2.30!!

Well here is the card !  I used a beautiful dandelion digi stamp from Pink petticoat, some nesties die, a swirl embossing folder, white and black card, a piece of ribbon from my stash and a ribbon slider.

Like I said.  Simples!! 

Oh I also found out I was in the top 3 at Karen's doodles for their recipe challenge with my Princess in a castle card.  Thank you ladies, I will be using my winning digi for this weeks challenge, so keep your eyes peeled.

I thought you might like to see my mothers day present and card from my son Theo 6 with the help of his daddy!

They used a plastic bottle for the vase and covered with paper and I think they used a biscuit box for the base which they have decorted with flowers.

Theo made the card in school!.

Well this is my first post of today, but no challenges to enter it into.

The card is a diamond fold card from red hot bed.  The Backing papers are from K & Company 'Classic K McKenna'  I have stamped butterflies onto the folds and inked the edges.

Side view, with fairy charm hanging from border.

The digi stamp is called 'Dareama' by Beary Dust stamps, I have printed her onto card and cut her out with the largest Nellie snellen multi frame ovals which I have inked and liquid pearled around the edge, I have also added minigems and glitter to the wings.

She has been coloured with pro markers.

I have used a fiskars lace border punch for both side with a piece of lace down one side and pearl gems up the other.

The sentiment has been printed on my computer and cut out with the smallest nestie scalloped oval. The rose is from wild orchid crafts.

The box has been made with the same papers etc.

Well post 2 of the day and the weather is getting worse.  :o(  At least the card is bright and cheery!

The sketch for this card is from Papertake weekly.  The backing papers Were in my stash, but have no idea who made them or where I got them!

The digi stamp is from Karens doodles called proud Mamma and it has been coloured with pro markers.  I have added mini gems for th centre of all the flowers.

The die cut flowers are from a Marianne creatables die, and the sentiment was created on my computer and punched out with a small circle punch.

Well the weather isn't too bad today, at least it isn't raining!.  This will be the first of 2 posts today so I will be brief.

The sketch for this card was taken from the critter sketch challenge blog.  I have mixed the papers on the card today.  The Newsprint is from Stampin' up, and the two top papers are from K & company Hopscotch range.  I have used cross stitch thread and wrapped it around the second layer.

The buttons are from my stash, and I have again used cross stitch thread in them.

With Sympathy!

Well another dull day here in Sidmouth, but at least it isn't raining, yet!!  A friend of ours lost their father this week, so I made them a sympathy card to show we were thinking of them.  The bearly mine sketch was just what I neede for this as it was simply and uncomplicated.

Here it is.

Well There isn't much on the shopping list for this card!!

Black and white card, and a swirl embossing folder for the matting and layering.

I have used a do crafts 'with sympathy' stamp that I bought at Trago Mills for £1.  Knew it would come in handy one day!.  I have stamped it with versa mark and used black embossing powder and heat embossed it.  Then added 3 black pearl gems to the top and bottom of the panel.
