A 50's sock hop!

Good evening all have just had a fabulous day at the hobby craft show at westpoint, Exeter today and spent far too much money!!  Will show you the piccies of my goodies tomorrow :o)   Today's post is a card made useing the fabulous Kelley kids images, I hope you like it.

The papers were freebies from a magazine years ago and have been stashed in a drawer all this time!,  I have mounted them onto black card and used a Fiskars boarder punch down the side of the top layer.

The image is the girl from the 50's party set and has been coloured with pro markers, then cut out and mounted with foam pads.

The sentiment is again forom the 50's set and has been cut out with a scalloped nestie, then inked with blue and pink.  The buttons are from my stash, the swirl is a Marianne creatable and I have used gems from my stash.

DT post for Craft -Room Challenge 'Anything Christmas'

Well two weeks have flown by again and we are back with another challenge for you at Craft-Room Challenge.  Our theme for this fortnight is 'Anything Christmas'  and I have created my own version of an advent calender.  I hope you like it :o)

The idea for this came from a magazine that had a tutorial on a 4 drawer easle card.  I just added a few more layers!

Top easle card.  The backing papers for this card are from Hot off the press Forever cchristmas cards pack.

the image is one of my new Nellie Snellen stamps 'DAWN 005' And has been coloured with pro markers. It has been stamped onto an Xcut circular die and then attatched to a doily which has been inked with green and red. The sentiment is a See D's stamp punched out and inked, again with red and green and layered onto a Marianne creatable die cut.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid and the swirls are again Marianne creatables, and I have added mini gems to the ends.  The flowers have been glittered.

Lately I seem to be asked quite a lot for sympathy cards, so here is one for my stash of cards!

The image is from pink petticoat digi downloads.  It has just been printed in black, then cut out with an Xcut circle die and mounted onto a nesties scalloped circle. I have liquid pearled the scallops.  The butterflies have been punched and stuck on leaving their wings lose.  I have used the dotty embossing folder for the background.

DT card for OSAAT ' Punch it'

Happy Sunday all, I hope you have all had a good weekend so far.  Today we have another challenge over at OSAAT and it is 'Punch it'.  Now I have been running low on my new baby cards recently so I thought I would do up a boy and  a girl card this time.

I have used no backing papers on these cards, just a dotty embossing folder, and layered them onto pink and blue card depending on whether it is a boy or girl card. Leaf punches and butterflies have been added to opposite corners.

Side view.  I have shrunk the cat image and changed the colour of the image in Page plus 7 to create a backing paper to decorate the inside of the card.

As above I have changed the colour of the cat image from black to Blue or pink in page plus 7.  The cat has been cut out with nesties scalloped circles, and the hearts have been coloured with pro markers.

The sentiment has been created on my computer and cut out with nesties scalloped circles and has butterfly die cuts attatched., and a flower and leaf punches

DT card for Gingerloft 'Vintage/distressed'

Stars and stripes

Well I have time for a second post today as my darling husband has been home and sone the shopping and looked after the children!  I have had a great day, with a lovely prospective wedding invitations client ,who popped around and we designed her invites together :o) Now I just have to find the right colour card and ribbon and complete a sample for her to see if they are just what she wants when it is finished.  I hope so :o)

So anyway onto my second post!

The backing papers are from one of the designers at PC Crafter, and I have backed them all with black card.

The image has been coloured with pro markers, cut out and attatched to and Xcut circle and nesties scalloped circle to create a topper. I have then liquid pearled the scallops.

Time to Relax!

Well tonights card was origionally made for a DT project, but the image and creator are no longer with the team so I am posting it seperately. 

The backing papers are froma dove craftpaper pack and I have used a fiskars boarder punch to create the bottom boarder and the 2 corner pieces.

The image has been cut out with a Nellie Snellen die cut, and has been inked with blue and purple, then liquid pearled. The image has been coloured with pro markers and I have used glossy accents on the bubbles and mini gems to decorate. 

The pins I found on ebay and the sentiment is a Lili of the valley clear stamp set sentiment. which has been punched out then inked with blue and purple.

The flower and swirls are from Marianne creatables die cuts, they have been cut out of white card then inked with the same colours to match everything together.

New baby girl card

Good evening all, a late post this evening, I hope you like it :o)

I have used Pink petticoat digi backingpaers for this card and layered them on pink card.  I have used an Xcut circle die and a Nesties scalloped circle die for the base for the image which has been liquid pearled around the scallops
