I have use some stampin up papers for the backing(although I have forgotten the name of the set!), a fiskars border punch on the pink card and liquid pearls to create the dots down the border

The sentiment is from the black and gold range of forever friends stamps, the sentiment pack and I have stamped it onto a Marianne creatables  die cut.

This image is so fab!  It is called 'shy girl' and has been created by Barbara Jensen in the Stitchy bear store.  She has been coloured with pro markers and cut out then attatched with foam pads

Mother's day again :o)

Well another fine day today, although a lot colder!  

Todays card has again been made using the free lili of the valley images from Paper raft Inspirations magazine :o)

Hoppy Easter!!

What a beautiful day out there today!!  I have just had to walk into town to post some letters as my Hubbie has the card today for a job interview(wish him luck everyone!!) and I didn't even wear a coat!!  just gorgeous sunshine, and I will be out in it again this afternoon as my son has a football match at school and I am going to watch. Happy days :o)

Well who turned on the taps?  It's horrible outside today!!!

so to brighten your day here is a spring card for you, I hope you like it

Papers are from a free Pink petticoat wild blossoms paper pad that came with a Quick cards magazine a year or so ago! Image cut out using xcut circle die then layered onto a nesties scalloped circle die cut.  My fiskars border punch that creates the top section died yesterday :o(  rest in peace my favourite punch you have served me well over the last 5 years!!!!!

DT post for Craft-room challenge 'Vintage/Shabby'

Another 2 weeks have flown by and it is again time for a challenge over at Craft-room challenge and the theme this fortnight is

Such a simples card this time for a vintage look, all I have done is stamped the images, cut them out and used Tim Holtz distress inks on them and the base card, inside and out! to create the distressed/vintage look

DT project for OSAAT ' Reuse or recycle' 4th March

These weeks are just flying by, it is March already!   We have a new challenge for you over at OSAAT this week, and that is

'Reuse or recycle'

Now I like these challenges because it means I can decorate things I have been keeping my stash in for ages, without seeming to waste my time when I should be doing something else, or some other DT project!  So here is what I have been keeping my 3D paints in for like over a year now!

And here is waht it looks like now that I have decorated it!!!!

I love how it turned out, I hope you do too :o)

I have used a papermania paper pack for the backing on all the sides, and lid and a fiskars punch for the boarder

I have used the Funky floral V image from floppy latte designs in the Stitchy bear store .  I have printed it out 4 times and decoupaged the image and just used a sakura stardust black pen in the centre pieces of the design.  I have then used a marainne creatable small swirl die and a Joy crafts large leaf swirl for the leaves

The gorgeous butterfly is  another joy craft die cut that i have cut in both black and white to give it a show effect and added gems to the body, The writing has been created on my computer and then cut out with another marianne creatable die cut then inked around the edge.

The front has been created in the same way as the top although the image was printed smaller.

DT card for Gingerloft challenge 'Spring'

Time for a new challenge at Gingerloft and the theme this fortnight is

Here is my card

I have used a Z fold for this card and used the Dove craft forever friends 'Spring time' paper packe for the papers

The image has been cut out using one of my spellbinders dies, which has then been inked with yellow and blue

This cutie pie can be found at the gingerloft store, and has been coloured with pro markers

The sentiment is also available at the store and has been punched out and layered onto a nesties scalloped circle die.  I have used a flower  and leaf punch to create the embellies and a gem for their centres.
