Dt post fotr Gingerloft 'Under the sea'

Well hello again folks, here is another post for you today for my other design team Gingerloft challenges.  Don't forget you can win 3 digistamps for winning this challenge from the gingerloft store so why not play along and have some fun.

I have used 2 sets of digis from the stoe for this one because I couldn't resist them!  Part of the mermaid scene and the dolphin sihouette set.  I have used a swirl embossing folder as a background and inked it with light and dark blue inks.

The mermaid has been coloured with pro markers and cut out and attatched with silicon gel so I could put  her ontop of the embellies, Pearls and leaves(seaweed)

I have made the dolphin set into a shaker piece and put blue beads and tiny sea shells inside.  This was my first attempt at a shaker so I am pretty pleased with it!  The dolphin on top has been heat embossed with Kaliedescope embossing powder.

the sentiment comes with the dolphin set, I have printed it onto card and cut it out using the smallest scalloped circle nestie die then inked around the edge.  The shells were all from a beach trip years ago!  Knew I would find a use for them in the end!!
