Out of this world!

Good morning, I hope your weekend starts better than mine, up at 6.30 because hubby tried to put our youngest back to bed and managed to trip over and wake the whole house up with the bang he made as he dropped a whole load of Jake's toys on the floor :o(  Now we are all awake and he is back in bed!  How does that work?  Oh well here is today's card

My son's birthday invitations!

well I have just managed to squeeze in some crafting today and here is the result!  My son's birthday invitations.  I hope you like them!!

These gorgeous papers are freebies from Bearly mine and I thought they were just perfect for the theme as they have an oriental style to them.

The image is a free colouring picture from the internet of Po from Kung Fu Panda as my son is a big fan at the moment, I have just shown him the invites and he is thrilled with them which is always a plus as a 7 nearly 8 year old can be fairly brutal with their honesty!!  I have coloured this image with pro markers

Inspiration piece for Chalk N Stock

I am back again hoping to inspire!  With this new bugaboo image and sentiment!  Don't you just love it!

Anyway, here is the card  and how I created the background!

Finished card :o)

I have used yellow and orange chalk mists sprayed onto white card to create the 2 background sheets

I then stamped glasses onto them with black ink

Commissioned wall canvas 2!

Here is my second commissioned wall canvas, I hope you like it!

I have covered the canvas in several shades of purple acrylic paint and then gone around the edges with a black stazon ink pad

This fabulous image from Saturated canary, called 'Gothica' Has been printed A4 size and then coloured with pro markers, cut out and added to the  canvas using silicon glue

The name has been created using a sizzix die alphabet and then I have added white dots with my Gelly roll pen to make it stand out!

I have created this section using a piece of do craft paper and a tonic studios border punch then added gems from my stash.  I have put 2 small mirror pieces at the top and bottom and used black gem swirls to accentuate them.  I have then created a floral center piece using Wild orchid flowers that I have also attached using silicon glue

I have used Ribbon/digi/diecut as my line :o)

I have used Paper cellar Black and white papers, Nesties die cut, xcut circle die cut and a Tim holtz embossing folder

Commissioned Wall canvas

Good morning all I hope your day is going well?  I have been commissioned to create 2 wall canvases for girls and this post will show you the first one!  Hope you like it :o)

I have used a pink ink to cover the base of the canvas and edged it with black ink, I then used some offcut gingham paper and matted it with black card, I used the music sheet embossing folder and matted that onto black too.  The music notes die cut is a memory box die and the treble clefs are Marianne creatables dies, the ribbon and charm are from my stash

This digi is called Mad Skillz and is a kenny K image, she has been printed out to A4 size and cut out and coloured with pro markers then added to the picture using silicon glue

The name has been created using a sizzix alphabet die set and the gem s are from a packet

All flowers and pearl strips are from Wild orchid crafts and the leaves are marianne creatables die cuts

Now I am using grey as the black scale as I had this card in mind from the first moment I brought my new Tombstone nestabilities dies and I forgot that we were supposed to use Black, but there is a lot of black on there!!
