Still no snow for us!

Well we still have the freezing cold weather, but there is no sign of that lovely white stuff that seems to elude my son every year!!  We live in 2 places and every time it snows at one we seem to be at the other.  My son thinks he is some kind o f snow repelent, poor thing!!lol.
Anyway on to today's card.  Quite appropriate for all this cold weather don't you think?  I am sure we all know someone who has gone down with a cold or some awful bug.  This image is from  http://karensdoodles.com/.  Head on over and check it out they have some fabulous images for you to purchase.  I have used pro markers to colour the digi stamp.  The flower themed papers were free from a magazine.
This image is soooo cute!!

The sentiment has been printed on my computer and the flowers are from Wild Orchid.

I hope you like this.  I am entering this card into the http://delightfulsketches.blogspot.com/ flower power challenge.

It's Chritmas time!

Well it certainly feels cold enough to be, although we have not had the snow yet here in Sidmouth!  Maybe this will make me feel as though we have though as there is so much snow in the card!lol.  This is such a lovely stamp to work with.  The stamp is from lili of the valley so head on over as they have some beautiful designs in.(Am hoping to get some for Christmas, but I don't think Santa knows where to find my crafting goodies as I always have to buy them myself!!lol).
Any way, back to the card.   I chose the papers I was going to use first, decorated , matted and layered the card to the sketch design then coloured the image with pro markers and used glitter for the tinsel.
I used pearl gems to embellish. and the sentiment is from papermania, which i have stamped onto a nestabilities die cut.

The snowflake has been glittered and inked.

i am entering this card into the http://liliofthevalleythursdaychallenge.blogspot.com/ sketch challenge 75,  http://craftycalendarchallenge.blogspot.com/ Winter snowflakes,

Christmas necklaces

Well here was a fun project I have to admit!  And I have been wearing one ever since I made them!!lol  I do love using shrink plastic and it is so easy to create simple jewellery with it.  I stamped The image with Stazon onto frosted shrink plastic and coloured with pro markers.  I cut them out and punched holes top and bottom before I put them in the oven and viola as soon as they came out they were a piece of jewellery ready to happen!.  The chain itself is made out of some cross stitch thread I have had hanging around for years!  Just cut 4 times more than you need for a chain fold it in half, tape one end to the table and twist the rest unitl it has all been done, then fold in half and let it twist on itself and tie a knot in the end.  So simple yet very effective.

Well it is Thursday already and I don't know where this week has gone!!  I have been busy crafting I just haven't had the time to put it all on the Blog so I will do a few today to keep you up to speed!  Here is my entry for the http://kennykkraftygirlzchallenges.blogspot.com/ challenge  Tag it!

I have used a tag template and drawn and cut around it and applied 2 sets of paper to it then inked the edges with black ink.

I have used the same papers to matt and layer the card.

I have used a marianne creatable die to cut the flourish in the corner and a snowflake punch with glitter and  a gem to embellish.

I have used the KK christmas shopping image and coloured with pro markers, and added glitter and gems to embellish.

For the sentiment I have used nestabilities lable die and See D's sentiment and snowflake stamp.

I have also entered this into the http://aspoonfullofsugarchallenge.blogspot.com/ challenge 'anything goes' and
I had very little time to make this card so I am very pleased with the result!  Hope you all like it too.

My sons Christmas presents for his class mates!

Well, didn't quite know what to get anyof them, so I decided to make it instead.  I have used card bags and folded a 12cm x 10cm piece of card over it and attached with staples.  I then covered the front of the card with paper and decorated with stamped images, coloured with pro markers and glittered, and pucnhed snowflakes.  I then filled the bags with sweets and chocolates!!   Yum Yum!!  Might just keep them for myself!!

Hope you all like them!

Close up of the image(sorry the camera didn't want to focus properly!)
