DT post for Gingerloft 'Plant a Tree'

Good morning again,  here is my second design team project of the morning, this time for Gingerloft challenges.  The theme for the next 2 weeks is 'Plant a tree'  Have a tree somewhere in your projrct, as a main image or part of it.  Come and join in the fun and you could win 3 digistamps from http://www.gingerloft.blogspot.com/ .

Here is my card

I decided to try my hand at a double easle for this one, am pleased with the result, but when it folds down the 2 trees  are longer than the card so I am going to have to make a box to fit it in!  Haven't had chance yet.  I have used an embossed card from my stash for the main layer and matted it onto brown card.  I have used a greenish ribbon in the corners and across the easle.

i combined 2 digi's for this one  'Tree on hill'

and 'flowering tree digi'.  I have treated them both the same, I cut them out with the largest Nellie Snellen Scalloped rectangle die, Then inked with green ink, then brown ink right on the edge.  I have used black pearl gems for the flowers in the tree and used liquid pearls on the scallops.  They have both been attatched with foam pads.

The sentiment is a freebie found using a web search on a quotes site. I have used Flowers from Wild orchid crafts to embellish.
